Short and honest: what data we collect, why, and who sees it.
Account and profile
Email and password are for signing in. Others see your name, photos, bio, interests, languages and only the “More about me” answers you chose to show. Your date of birth stays hidden: others see your age, and only if you allow it.
Location
Only while your status is on, and only approximately — rounded to about 300 m. Others only see a distance like “1–3 km”. When the status ends, the place is deleted. We never collect location in the background.
Invitations, chats and meetups
Messages and photos in a chat are seen only by its two people. A chat with no new messages for 30 days is deleted with its photos. Answers to “How was your meetup?” are seen by moderation only.
Moderation and safety
Moderation receives reports together with the chat they are about. Verification selfies are seen by moderation only and are deleted right after the check.
Notifications and crashes
For notifications we store your device’s address (Firebase). If the app crashes, we get an error report (Firebase Crashlytics): where it broke, the phone model and system version — no name, messages or location.
Where data is stored
On Supabase servers in Frankfurt (EU). We don’t sell data and don’t show ads.
Your rights
You can change your profile, turn off notifications and read marks, or delete your account in Settings at any time — that deletes your profile, photos, statuses, invitations and chats.
